Midway Rising Update – December 18, 2023
The Midway Rising team is excited to announce that our project’s environmental review period is now underway! On Monday, December 18, 2023, the City of San Diego published a Notice of Preparation, which invites the community to submit comments regarding the scope and analysis of an upcoming Environmental Impact Report that will be prepared in 2024.
On the right are a few important resources to review so that you can share your input as a part of this environmental review process.
Our team looks forward to working with you, the Midway community and all San Diegans to help bring thousands of new affordable homes and a dynamic mixed-use entertainment center to the San Diego region!

Our plan would deliver 4,250 new homes for San Diegans of all backgrounds, with over 2,000 affordable units tailored specifically for low- and middle-income families and at-risk San Diegans—seniors, vets, youth.
